As we age, our skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid decreases causing the skin to form wrinkles and look older.
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 with 3x Effect formula counteracts this process:
1. Fills: High and low molecular acid moisturizes and plumps up wrinkles.
2. Stimulates: The anti-oxidant, Saponin, activates the skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid production by up to 256% and protects the skin from free radicals.
3. Defends: Enoxolone decreases the degradation rate of Hyaluronic Acid by more than 50%.
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 addresses the first signs of aging in combination skin. It noticeably plumps up fine lines and even deep wrinkles for a rejuvenated look. It effectively prevents from UV-induced photoaging (premature skin aging caused by the sun), the deepening of wrinkles, and protects the skin from free radicals.

How they work together
At the heart of Eucerin’s unique Hyaluron-Filler formula is a unique combination of high and low molecular Hyaluronic Acid:
- High molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as long-chained Hyaluronic Acid) remains on skin’s surface to improve hydration in the outermost layer of the epidermis – where fine lines and winkles originate.
- The molecules in low molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as short-chained Hyaluronic Acid) are 40 times smaller1 than those of high molecular Hyaluronic Acid and so it is able to penetrate further into the epidermal layers where it stimulates skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid.
In most of the formulas, Hyaluronic Acid is combined with bio-active anti-oxidant Glycine Saponin which penetrates even deeper into the dermal layers of skin, stimulating the production of Hyaluronic Acid and replenishing moisture where deeper wrinkles originate. Furthermore, it protects the skin from free radicals.
The next generation Hyaluron-Filler formula also contains Enoxolone, an active ingredient that slows down the degradation rate of skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid by inhibiting Hyaluronidase.

At what age should I start using Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler?

Why does Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 contain UVA and UVB filters?
The sun’s UVA and UVB rays affect skin in different ways. UVA rays are most commonly associated with photoaging (premature skin aging caused by the sun) as they contribute to the breakdown of skin components such as Hyaluronic Acid, collagen and elastin that are key to the firmness and elasticity of skin. Facial skin is frequently exposed to both types of UV, even on cloudy days. That’s why Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 15 includes both UVA and UVB protection.

What is the difference between Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF15 and Eucerin Volume-Filler Day Care SPF15?
Both are effective anti-aging day creams with added UV protection and are available in formulas which have been specially developed for normal to combination skin. Both also contain Hyaluronic Acid but in different forms to suit different skin needs.
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF15 also contains Glycine Saponin which supports Hyaluronic Acid production in the cells of the dermal layer where the deepest wrinkles form.
